Synopsis
The Mal Waldron Quintet takes the stage at the storied jazz venue in New York City to showcase the group’s superb improvisational technique on four tunes, including “All Alone,” “Fire Waltz” and “Left Alone.” For this performance, innovative pianist and bandleader Waldron is joined by Charlie Rouse on saxophone and flute, Reggie Workman on bass, Woody Shaw on trumpet and Ed Blackwell on percussion.
